lovely video game art ✿ the world ends with you
“I’m always with you, too.”
For: junior-hero / bakashiiuzumaki
What can I say? The world needs idiots like these.
I mean wtf man, I click it thinking I’ll get some laughs out of it but now it just made me…I strongly disagree with it.
I mean sure, for the disney worlds you have to relive those disney parts. But that’s what makes it fun! Reliving all those worlds that you’ve long forgotten by this point in age and getting in touch with your inner child again. And “dialogue that makes no sense”? The dialogue makes sense but you can’t just look at it and see the meaning. Its because this game has so much meaning that the dialogue has so much meaning. You can’t just look at the dialogue and find the answer there. You actually have to dig down deep to find it. Is that too hard for you???!
Oh and seriously? “But worse than that, each new character gets somehow less relatable, more annoying, and further unable to hold an entire game. It’s hard to imagine a less engaging main character than Roxas, and then Ventus came along in Birth By Sleep as his less likable doppelganger.” can i just say how insulted I am? I found these characters probably the most relatable! I mean seriously, think about it, Roxas has a life that isn’t suppose to even exist!! Wouldn’t you get upset too and wonder what the hell your doing here if all that’s waiting for you is to disappear? And “his less likable doppelganger?” Honestly, I think that Ventus and Roxas are two different people and don’t look nothing alike besides a few similarities. And I found Ventus very likable. Especially how in the end he has to fight himself internally and no matter what happened, as long as he can save his friends, he was fine with what happened to him in the end.
Oh and things like “It’s become a cruel joke that fans of the series have to purchase a new console or handheld every time they want to play the newest Kingdom Hearts game” although this may be true, I think it gives us a world of endless possibilities and newer ways to enjoy this wonderful series.
And although the Kingdom Hearts series does have a lot of games, you can’t fit a wonderful series like this is merely ONE game. (Am I the only one that thinks Kingdom Hearts 3 will be called Kingdom Hearts Reconnect? XD) You need to fully understand the story AND mind fuck them a little here and there to make the series AMAZING.
So to wrap this up, if you’re too STUPID to see the amazingness of Kingdom Hearts the first time you play it, then maybe you have to go play it a few more types to actually see its meanings. You can’t just look on the outside of things, you actually have to dig down deep! And if you’re too lazy to do that, then maybe you should stick to playing your own games instead of hating on everyone else’s.

“What should I believe in!?”
…
“Don’t be so wishy-washy just because you learned something about your dad! ‘What should I believe in?’ Hmph… Quit messing around! Just keep believe what you were believing! Was everything you said before a lie?! Don’t put me in despair!”
“… Zelos…”This scene between Lloyd and Zelos is perfect. but it shows how much Zelos has changed how hard it’ll be for him when he betrays them. I could talk all day about it, so I’ll shut up now. This scene will always be beautiful.
Except the line “Don’t put me in despair”. Sorry, I understand what he’s saying, but it just sounds so… I don’t know… lame. Or something.
Make sense or not. It’s still an awesome line
