No matter what happens to you. You’re still you. Even if you become an angel. Even if you become like Marbel. I won’t ever think you’re weird. Ever.
Hmmm…out of all the Tales Animes..this one will have to be the Tales of Symphonia OVA.
This has got to be because of how different it is compared to the whole story line. Ya, its the same story line but I love how they put alternate scenes than what was in the game. Like how Lloyd found out about Kratos, or the coffee scenes, and Colette’s songs.
Oh, and lets not forget the hilariously random bonus episodes along with the humor every now and then.
Also, I love how they look in the OVA. There’s something about them that makes them all look so adorable. Yes, even Mithos. Like in the United World episodes there were so many perks and the way they made their facial expressions was just brilliant. And did you see Zelos’s hair?! It was so fluffy!!!!
And lets not forget the openings!!! Brilliantly made right?!

Hmm… this one is kinda hard…but I think I’ll go with the one that pretty much any Tales fan knows. The Reveal of Kratos being Lloyd’s father.
I think what made this scene so shocking is how it came. I mean Yuan took Lloyd hostage and practically laughed as everyone was freaking out!!! He’s kinda sadistic >..> Especially how Kratos is just standing there not denying it ;^; And then Mithos came and there’s more shocking reveals!!!! Seriously!! Although I love how Lloyd’s just saying “What do I believe?!” Like if you see this in the OVA though Zelos is there to put Lloyd back in his place. Though in the game its Colette and cue the cheesey speech like Mithos said. I kinda agreed…
Oh and for my last day bout Favorite Quotees I forgot Lloyd’s “Everyone! Stop saying Corny things!!!”

Lol, you know what guys, you can give up on me just choosing one. Too many quotes to say. Let’s start off with the ones I remember.
From Tales of Symphonia-
- Lloyd-
- Regardless of who your real father is, you’re still you. Nothing’s changed. You just have two fathers. Just think of yourself as being lucky for having more than most people do.
- Just because the logic is sound, it doesn’t mean it’s right
- Where do you get off? Don’t even start spewing the word, ‘justice’! I hate that word! If you wanted to save your wife, you should have resigned your position as Governor-General and searched for a cure, or help, or whatever! You’re a worthless jerk who couldn’t give up his social status even for his own wife!
- How can we go on a quest to regenerate the world if we can’t even save the people standing right in front of us?!
- If you’re afraid of dying, it means you’re happy to be alive
- I’ve lost all confidence as a man.
- Give me your name and I’ll give you mine
- Colette:
- Dream some good dreams for me, Lloyd…
- This time, I don’t want to disappear. I really don’t.
- Raine:
- In order to change the world, I must first change myself.
- Zelos:
- Man, what an arrogant SOB. Talking as if he knows everything…
- [To Lloyd, when confronted about discriminating against half elves] I know that they’re normal people, just like you and me. But that’s what discrimination is about. Knowing that, and still not being able to shake that feeling…
- Mithos:
- Is it a sin to be weak hearted? Not everyone’s strong. Not everyone can stand being despised.
- And thus, you forget the past… The countless lives that were lost… and the pain of those that suffered. Crimes must be met with punishment.
From Tales of Vesperia:
- Yuri:
- Humph. People can’t understand anything except what they see with their own eyes.
- I’ll set you free
- Rita:
- Having you pity makes me wanna jump off this cliff.
- Zap….. I like the way that sounds.
From Tales of the Abyss:
- Luke:
- You can’t go forward if you keep looking back
- All I ever did was pay attention to myself. And I’m not even sure I saw myself clearly.
- If it’s kill or be killed, then dammit, I’m killing!
- [After cutting his hair] With this..I say goodbye to who I have been..
- Jade:
- I’m not sure about ‘friend,’ but we do have an awkward bond of sorts
- Having this many suicidal people around is really getting on my nerves
- Unlike in fairy tales, the world doesn’t live happily ever after.
- People have the right to choose their own path to destruction
- Guy:
- It’s so much easier to believe that only your own thoughts and beliefs are absolutely correct.
- The greater the loss, the more people need someone to hate for it.
- If you look up “villain” in the dictionary, I bet you’ll see Jade’s face next to it.
- Enter the amazing Guy!
Well these are just quite a few but you get the point!!!!
OH GOSH!!! YOU’RE MAKING ME CHOOSE!! Ugh..and I don’t want to be wishy washy by saying I love them all.
Even though it’s trueUmm I would have to say…I really enjoyed Lloyd’s scene with Colette in Flanoir and also his scene with Kratos.
I love this scene because of how much feeling there is. So many people are there to reassure Lloyd and tell him that he’s not alone. That no matter what happens he’s still him and nothing will change that. Although you have to do two different playthroughs to see the two different scenes I think it’s always refreshing to see it. And with his scene with Kratos, I love the father-son moment and I was really interested about what happened with Anna.
Although, another scene I love is the famous hot coffee scene because Lloyd really pulls through in that one. And it just proves that no one will tell you anything unless you give them a reason to.
And there are so many scenes but I don’t wanna be typing forever ;^;

For @cherrywhite
oh gosh terrie!!! thanks! oh but btw everyone: this isn’t any of our ideas. found it on tumblr..the quote that is
(Source: maashu)
Lloyd Irving and Collet Brunel - ToS Tethe´alla 01
“What should I believe in!?”
…
“Don’t be so wishy-washy just because you learned something about your dad! ‘What should I believe in?’ Hmph… Quit messing around! Just keep believe what you were believing! Was everything you said before a lie?! Don’t put me in despair!”
“… Zelos…”This scene between Lloyd and Zelos is perfect. but it shows how much Zelos has changed how hard it’ll be for him when he betrays them. I could talk all day about it, so I’ll shut up now. This scene will always be beautiful.
Except the line “Don’t put me in despair”. Sorry, I understand what he’s saying, but it just sounds so… I don’t know… lame. Or something.
Make sense or not. It’s still an awesome line
